Title: WANTED: eccentric strut bolt and nut
Post by: fiero308 on September 10, 2003, 01:29:10 pm
I need one of the big eccentric McPherson strut mounting bolts with the matching washer for my rear suspension setup.  The one that is used to adjust the alignment.
If anyone has one please let me know; I am very happy to remove it if it is 'stuck' on something (other than your car....... 8) !!)
thanks in advance!!!!
pls PM or email me if you have one; will pay any reasonable price but need it soon.

very funny.

also true.  As of last nite I am going to start on "Upper hub attachment Mark III"

Here is Mark II:
looks nice but when I mocked it all up I decided to do something different.  Oh well.  more fun with grinders and welders........ ;D

to get a sense of scale, the plate is 1/4" thick.  The tube is 1" DOM.  The two centre-most holes bolt to the rear knuckle where the BIG sucker strut bolts go.

Mark III will be similar but I will be changing the 'tube' location; hopefully in the next day or so I can get something done on it.
