Post by: 2ML67 on March 30, 2004, 08:16:15 pm Looks to me like Chevy is trying to rework the Solicte with a better front and rear.
Title: Re:New Camaro = Sticky Keyboard! Post by: Rob on March 30, 2004, 09:41:47 pm WOW, that is Nice! I definitly think they got the RetroModern Look right on that car! when compared to others...
Hope it goes into production! I would lke to See them on the road(cause I will never afford one!) Later; Title: Re:New Camaro = Sticky Keyboard! Post by: dguy on March 31, 2004, 09:55:17 am Damn that's pretty. I just hope that it doesn't make a similar move from concept to production that the '04 GTO did.
The teaser in the "extras" on the XXX DVD was nice. The production car however, looked like nothing more than a Grand Prix with a different trim package. :( Title: Re:New Camaro = Sticky Keyboard! Post by: GoFast85 on March 31, 2004, 01:33:21 pm They will probably put a 170 hp 4 cylinder in it :(
Title: Re:New Camaro = Sticky Keyboard! Post by: FieroDough on March 31, 2004, 01:37:44 pm Heck no! they better put AT LEAST a nicely tuned LS1!
*mouth watering* Hummm.. Power... Title: Re:New Camaro = Sticky Keyboard! Post by: aaron88 on March 31, 2004, 06:40:07 pm I think in order to get it passed those Corvette guys they’re planning on introducing it as an economy commuter car. It’s going to come with a motorbike engine. But not to worry it’s also going to have the passenger seat bike pedals so that your passenger can peddle there way to high gas mileage. It’s one of those human assist hybrids!
Aaron . Title: Re:New Camaro = Sticky Keyboard! Post by: FieroDough on March 31, 2004, 06:43:26 pm sounds like a Ford but they use your feet for brakes. :P
Title: Re: New Camaro = Sticky Keyboard! Post by: heheheha on July 03, 2004, 04:49:11 pm Sorry to revive a dead topic...
This car was designed by a kid outside of GM. GM won't even look at it due to the policy of not accepting outside designs...Kid is 17, and they had a retired GM guy look at the drawings...he was told that for an ameteur (especially a very YOUNG one) that there is very little that would have to be changed for production...But they are just little things and a few things to met safety standards. Title: Re: New Camaro = Sticky Keyboard! Post by: GSXRBOBBY on July 08, 2004, 02:33:26 pm SWEET looking and mean looking, but I'm sure its going to be about $40 K.
