Title: EGR TUBE Post by: lsixtyseven on March 31, 2004, 01:16:15 pm My egr tube is broken right off of the flange underneath the plenum, has anyone repaired this tube, or know of a way to repair it.

I believe it can be brazed. Or a Firebird one will fit, if the holes are elongated a bit, it's supposed to be stronger. I have a used Fiero one here if you need it. it will be MUCH stronger and should stand up to temp and vibration a lot longer. Once you start using bronze you will be stuck with that as you prob know. just 2 cents.... I was fed up with that so went to the bronze rods. The bronze did the job but then i had to braze the new holes i made in the tube.
