Title: THINKING OF BUYING BACK 85 GT

 Hi guys im thinking of buying back my GT.The lad that purchased it last year blew the engine & is ready to sell it.Sold it for $2000 & it was running like a swiss watch at the time.What would be a fair price to offer in this condition?Ya! ya! i know what most of you must be thinking i just didn't think i would it miss this much :-\ :-\

with blown motor $500 or less.  The thing is...no matter how you look at it there is a lot of work required to do anything with the car.  Of course the car would be worth more if it were to be parted out.

If you need a motor I have a long block 1985 se 2.8 for sale.

Hi Claude: Nice to see you back.

It was a nice car, but like the guys said, if you got 2,000 then it's only worth 2,000 less the cost of rebuilding/replacing the motor.

Not running it may not be very attractive for the young guy to sell, so you may get it cheap.

cost of rebuild, install ect.. would be over 2K he needs to pay you to take it back! :P

Have you heard if the guy is selling it and if so how much he wants for it??
