Title: Need help finding a racing school!!!!! Post by: fiero308 on June 21, 2004, 04:59:33 pm I am looking for a "racing school" ....or reasonable facsimile thereof..... that HOPEFULLY has the open wheel type cars and will do one day sessions; it is for a grad present for the young lad. Gee, who knows....... maybe I will give it a try too...... ;D ;)
I have looked into a few but don't see anything quite like this so far, so ...... if you have a link or a phone number pls forward it, either here or email. Not a great situation if you are driving near barriers or maybe with an aggressive group.... And other fees and penalties. You gotta ask some pretty specific questions. The one at Mosport DOES NOT, it is open wheel, they are formula 2000 cars; sounds like a decent number of laps; you don't have to do the 'mother duck' lapping all the way thru (lots are!) ........ but I am still comparing. Some have pitifully FEW laps; LOTS of classroom time but very little time in the car. What do you think people GO for......??? (again) so it is an interesting exercise. gp |
