Title: Re: 88 fiero Post by: aaron88 on September 13, 2004, 12:21:43 pm I paid $4200 for my 88 GT. The body was in good shape but not rust free.
I had a rust free 86 linde up for something like $2600 but sprung the extra $1600 for the 88 that poped up at the last minut. I think it was well worth it. The car feels very good on the road at it's limits. Although I think $2500 is a much more reasonable amount for a rust free 88, the availability of them doesn't let you dictate the price. Aaron . Title: Re: 88 fiero Post by: steveo on September 13, 2004, 01:48:14 pm Just talked to the guy that owns the 88. he said he would let it go this time of year for $6000 cdn. funds. safety and e tested. you will not find a better 88 rust free.car. He has gone away but will be home soon. Thorold Ont. ;D ;D
Title: Re: 88 fiero Post by: runitca on September 13, 2004, 08:32:17 pm That is a little rich for my blood.. I can get an 86 92000km... not a spec of rust oil sprayed every year and never drove in winter for $1000.00 but it is a 4Cyl
Title: Re: 88 fiero Post by: steveo on September 13, 2004, 08:36:29 pm that is not a bad price. but it is not a last year model car. it is not a southern car and it is not this clean. but you pay for what you get i am sure this 88 will go it sure is nice
Title: Re: 88 fiero Post by: runitca on September 13, 2004, 08:45:37 pm I am sure it will but I can't see paying 6K for a car to turn it into a kit... I wouldn't want to carve up a collector item.. either..
Title: Re: 88 fiero Post by: GoFast88 on September 14, 2004, 12:17:01 pm I paid $1750 for my 88 but it was FAR from rust free (although it was claimed to be by the seller)

Where abouts is the car? Anything wrong with it? Joe Title: Re: 88 fiero Post by: runitca on September 14, 2004, 02:12:24 pm No I am sure they would sell it to anybody.. She just left for 3 weeks .
