Shh not too loud because as of this weekend my car will be coming apart for a few winter mods to be done so no more long trips for her this year. Also building up a nice 97 Bonneville SSEi to replace my aging van. Also helping with a 3800SC Fiero Indy build up and installing a 3800SC into an 89 6000 (although I still don't quite understand why).  Best part of all is furnace in garage is up and runnig perfectly so no freezing body parts this winter. As far as I know, 8'h x 9'w is a reasonably common garage door size.  So who's the marketing genius that decided to sell garage door weatherstripping in seven foot lengths?  ::)  Both doors done, and I'm short by 12" on one side.   >:(

 We seem to do well at Hooters and everyone knows where it is. On the other hand I know some don't like Hooters so how about Le Scratch or one of the places in Kanata? So unless anyone has a better idea lets meet at Hooters Nov. 6th at 5:30pm. Sound good?

I don't think i heard a good comment about the food quality at Hooters, service at LeScratch was quite poor....last time I remember the waitress was essentially kicking us out!  Could do the pizza thing, in Kanata theres the Boston Pizza, theres also a Pizza Hut on Hazeldean, but maybe buffet style would probably float everyones fuel sender.  Or, why not make it a night out at the same time.....indoor karting?

Indoor carting sounds like fun, lets do that we have been tallking about that for a while. Pizza sounds good as well. Is there a pizza place close to the carting place?

Where did you guys have in mind, top karting?  There was another place but I'm not sure of the name.  Who would be interested if we do it?

 In responce to Don's problem it is the same mentality that puts twelve weenies in a package and only eight buns.

Karters Korners is nice, but Top Karting is better.   ;D

The layout at Karters Korners never changes, and all 180lbs of me can run the entire circuit with the accelerator pinned except for the last hairpin before the pit area.  Though that's at summer track temperatures...  I suspect that it may be a bit different this time of year.

Top Karting OTOH has faster machines, two or three different courses that they switch between at undetermined intervals, and tracks lap times, speeds, etc.  Yes, I'm a convert.  ;)

Top Karting also has a bar & restaurant on premises, though I don't know what the food is like.

Well we have gone from, the meeting, to garage doors, to food, to 2 different forms of carting, and finally hot dogs.  :P
I guess the next question is where is Top Karting.
If a cocensis is not reached in the next 3 hours I will not kow as I do not have access t the net outside of business hours. Maybe Tyler will tell me after work.

I believe that they're pretty busy Saturday evenings, so we can do our usual hang-out bit while waiting for our turn.  And Brian, I don't think the GTG is until next weekend, but I'll let you know how things turn out by the end of today...   ;D

Faster machines, you bet your ass they are.  I think the karts at Karters Korners are governed at 25 km/h where as I have a "results print out" from Top Karting with a straightaway top speed of 104 km/h. No shit.

I had a chat with Jason (fierogt28) a couple of nights ago, and I think he's up for some fun this weekend.

I'm sure a lot of people can't or won't make it, but that hasn't ever stoped us before.
