Title: Duke ECM CTS Post by: dguy on November 29, 2004, 08:31:56 am Could anyone who has a 85-86 2.5 please check the sensor at the base of the thermostat housing and tell me whether theirs has a plastic shroud surrounding it or not?
I know the 84's have them, but I can't remember if on the later model engines the shroud is missing by intent, or in our case by accident. ??? Title: Re: Duke ECM CTS Post by: 2ML67 on November 29, 2004, 11:07:30 am The shroud was to help keep it from falling off on the 84's and 85's. 86 up used a different clipping type two pin connector. by changing the plug you can use either but if you want to buy a new sensor most places only carry the 86 up one.
