Title: Attention Car Computer Guys!!!!!! Post by: FieroBUZZ on October 19, 2002, 08:02:26 am Okay guys, here is a new forum for you to check out. I don't understand it at all. Evidently if it doesn't involve using an angle grinder, I'm screwed.
If anyone actually understands and of this and wants to play I'd be interested in at least hearing the guy on the street version. May be useful for Eric's 3800, or if anyone goes to a new motor. Title: Re:Attention Car Computer Guys!!!!!! Post by: fiero1 on November 14, 2002, 02:32:53 pm GARY I WAS ON GOOGLES TODAY @ I WAS READING ON A CASE THAT TIS GUY DROPPED A 3.4 TO REPLACE A 2.8 @ ACCORDING TO THE INFO THIS BLOCK IS IDENTICAL TO THE 2.8 I NEVER HEARD OF A 3.4 HAVE YOU????
Title: Re:Attention Car Computer Guys!!!!!! Post by: FieroBUZZ on November 14, 2002, 05:00:27 pm It's a Camaro 3.4. Kind of an updated 2.8. There are a few things to do to make it fit (mainly moving the starter) but you can dress it to look like a regular 2.8.
This is the motor that Tyler has in his red GT, although his has some mods. It is very nice and has lots of guts. If oyu are interested in one he can tell you exactly what you need.
