Title: Price and availability?
Post by: heheheha on January 09, 2006, 07:50:19 pm
Hey
Quick question;

What are the prices of a 4 banger manual transmission notchback, preferably with a GT front end? And anyone lookin to let go of one any time soon? Must run.

Varies greatly depending upon the condition, and what you are willing to spend.

To some, $2000-3000 is not unreasonable for a relatively rust-free, safetied & smogged L4 notchie.  Most would say that I over-paid for my 85 when I purchased it, but at the time the expenditure was worth it to me.

Given however that you're considering a swap, scoot on over to the For Sale section, and check out the '84 which Mr. Tourismo currently has for sale.  Might be a suitable donor to start a swap project with...   ???

Well, I did look at it, and thought that I'd rather drive it till I have aquired an Eco and parts, but at the price this one is going for...

OK, so part of it was I was tired when I looked there and missed the price of it the first time :)
