Title: How embarassing!!!
Post by: MacPhail on April 08, 2006, 08:51:45 pm
Ok.  Got the Fiero (my wife calls it The Fiasco) on the road for the first time yesterday (remember that I purchased it last October).  Before meeting a buddy for coffee this morning, I thought it wise to fill 'er up with gas since it was on empty.

Well, I pulled up to the pumps on the right side, got out of the car, and then stared at the fuel door.  Hmmm....it doesn't seem to want to open.  Ok then.  Let's look for the door release.

Search, search, search.

No luck.

I'm a 35 year old dude in a sports car looking like a tool.   :-[

So after a few minutes, I get back in the car and drive off so that I can go home and do a Google search (no manual) to find out where the darn release was.

The rest of the day went much better after that (except for the part when, after taking my wife for her first spin, she opens the door and the trim falls off....up to CT I went for some Goop to hold it on).

Cheers, Derek

PS  Care for a new member at your May meet up?
