Title: Blue Thingy getting some mods
Post by: MacPhail on September 12, 2006, 03:56:49 pm
The Blue Thingy (or "The Fiasco" as my wife and friends jokingly refer to it as) will be getting a few upgrades thanks to Dan's skills.

The following will be installed:

3.0 pulley
42.5# fuel injectors
Walbro fuel pump
Cooler plugs and 160 t-stat
ZZP XP HOT cam and related parts including a double roller chain

Computer programming will also be done.

And not to worry....I won't be seeking out the Batmobile for the new body.  ;)  However, I won't rule out blue lights  under the car.  hehe

Cheers, Derek

Maybe we should get a fund raiser together to pay for driving lessons for Derreck or find a way to keep the 401 between Kingston and Gananogue clear twice a day while he travels back and forth to work. Dan

Believe it or not, I'm really quite the respectable driver!  Moms in minivans can be seen passing me on the 401.  Heck...my wife complains that I drive too slow!

But I do plan on taking lessons on the track next season.  I think that would be a good idea, even if I don't race her.

Cheers, Derek

If you weigh you car front wheels and rear, I can tell you how wide you need to go to counter the oversteer.
