Title: LS1 Post by: 2ML67 on February 15, 2007, 03:53:49 pm Found a nice 97 LS1 corvette in the wreckers with 114,000 km on it and started thinking, after all it is an aluminum engine so it shouldn't be too heavy and I do have two FWD Getrags laying out in the garage. The car is complete other than damage from accident and I can get the engine with its harness and PCM for $3,500. Think it would be worth the effort. Dan

I dont know what people think when they are talking about 'other then fuel economy'. A modern v8 aka ls1 will get better mileage then the old 2.8 thats in our cars now! plus if you feel the need for power! Its there!
PS: I may have to stop around to see this swap if it ever gets underway!.. |
