Just rough, I'm drawing a front view 'toon' Fiero.

I think they look much better from the rear.

You could clean that up a lot if you make the fiero logo larger and put Ottawa to the left and club to the right.  My $.02.

Edit... on second thought just make the ottawa and club in smaller print left and right.  It should fit nicely.

Little different.  The Fiero in the logo is hard to match as the Ottawa and Club are such different lengths.

I see what you are saying but, now the writing has made the graphic even smaller.
I think the graphic should take up more room than the writing.

I found a Fiero font a long time ago but I can't remember what it was called.

It's Hemihead 426, but it's only close.  pretty shitty looking IMHO.

No club at all.

How 'bout the Pegasus logo with "Ottawa Fiero Club" wrapped around the bottom of it (in a "U" shape)?

Too late!  This actually looks better than the toon.  Size, elements are all scalable or removable or added.  Comments please. Bit o'this and that?

One thing to remember, if it's a shirt, 1 colour will be best.  For cards or online banners etc, it's easy to add the maple leaf or something in a second colour.

Is there a Fiero-font that could be used?

As for the shape of the the text, can you make it follow the shield so that it is pointed at the bottom?  Maybe have "Ottawa" end at the bottom of the point and "Fiero Club" run up the right side from the point onwards? 

Or maybe yet, take out all of the text and just have "Ottawa" at the top of the badge (with "Fiero" in the logo, it will be assumed that we're part of some geeky club).   :P

This is hemihead, the only 'Fiero" font I have ever seen used.  I personally would not put it on toilet paper  :-\  even tho I think it looks like crap.


I can't, or don't know how, with the software I have.  I don't know if a point at the bottom would be okay or not.


We could use just the pegasus without the Fiero wording on top, or the one with OFC at the top.   Having just Ottawa at the top would be back to Ottawa Fiero and that would be a name change   >:D

I like Aaron's idea of using the "Fiero" in the shield, but I'm not too keen on the cartoon cars.  Maybe something like the following:

Tyler's done what I was thinking, but lose the "Club" at the bottom.  I don't think it's a name change dropping the "Club" as it would be inplied that "Ottawa Fiero" must be some sort of club.

It would also look cool on a golf shirt or badges on our fenders.

Scrap that idea....thinking something that will stay simple when embroidering.

But it's the toons that I like.  Hardly anyone these days remembers what a fiero is.

I can do some cool stuff if I had the time.  But all I seem to have is a couple of minutes to mod someone elses work.  Life sucks!

what about converting it to line art for the screen

not all there but, gives an idea.  suppose we could just do a trace also.

Any idea if a single color using "dot shading" for texture (like B&W newspaper photographs) would be do-able?

Maybe a different font for Ottawa/Club...something less bubbly looking if that sounds right.

The car needs some touching up like the door and rear lines, but I was in a hurry.

The hollow one is nice but not great for a printed shirt.

Lit valve caps....its all about the neons and leds!  :P

Underglow only counts if it's from a truly cool source, such as an anti-gravity system.   :P

My preference goes out to the version with a filename of "wen4.gif" at the moment...
