Title: Injured at work
Post by: Kevin on March 25, 2007, 08:52:06 pm
Just when we thought Kevin was going to make it through his Air Canada career without incident...

Friday night Kevin got his right leg stuck in between two baggage carts...broke his leg at the knee.  He actually broke a piece off and they will have to graft some bone from his hip to replace it.  He was supposed to have the surgery today but he keeps getting bumped.  They're looking at tomorrow now.

Will keep you posted....

Darlene.

Ouch!

Let Kevin know we're thinking about him and wishing him a speedy recovery.

Cheers, Derek

Let us know where he's at if you want, Darlene.  Maybe we can get in to bug him a bit.   :-\

Sounds like a long recovery.  All the best.

He's at the Civic room A229 (you go in the main entrance, take the elevators in front of you to the second floor, go to your right.  The room is straight down the hall in front of you as you turn right.  The nurses' station is on the left.).  I anticipate he could be there until the end of the week given the grafting.  Supposed to have the surgery today.  He does have his cell with him-613-277-9858..

I will be going to work today so I don't know if I will be able to post when I finally find out when the surgery is.

Pain-wise, he's not doing too badly.  He wasn't on any painkillers yesterday.

No painkillers?  Where's the fun in that?  ;)

Sorry to hear about the accident...  it's the baggage which is supposed to receive the abuse, not the baggage handlers.  Heal well & quickly, Kevin!

Maybe you can lend it to Gary for the season...providing he promises not to take it apart.  ;)

Cheers, Derek

If you post with your razor, does that mean you shave with a keyboard & mouse?   :D

More interestingly, why are you receiving anal probes for a busted knee?!   ??? :o

Hey that's neat... just noticed that your cell-posted messages are appearing with a little telephone icon instead of the default piece of paper thingy.   8)
