Title: Rear Window Tint Post by: FieroBUZZ on April 19, 2007, 06:39:23 pm Just for giggles I emailed this guy for an estimate on a rear window (dark) with a palm size club logo on the driver's side.
I thought a pair of life size skulls would be cool. Rear view for the driver's side and side on the passenger side (as if the passenger was looking over at the driver). http://ottawa.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehicles-SUVs-trucks-vans-Custom-Printed-Window-Advertising-W0QQAdIdZ12625462 (http://ottawa.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehicles-SUVs-trucks-vans-Custom-Printed-Window-Advertising-W0QQAdIdZ12625462) Title: Re: Rear Window Tint Post by: dguy on April 20, 2007, 08:03:04 am Just for giggles I emailed this guy for an estimate on a rear window (dark) with a palm size club logo on the driver's side. Dark as in 5% / limo dark, or one of the lighter shades of dark? ;) Title: Re: Rear Window Tint Post by: Kitten on April 20, 2007, 08:30:34 am I've seen similar stuff used on motorcycle visors...

Title: Re: Rear Window Tint Post by: FieroBUZZ on April 20, 2007, 08:21:30 pm He answered, but failed to mention the cost of the logo. The ad states that if you have a pic, all's good. I assume any increase in cost would be to accomodate design work.
They charge $12 per square foot. Given that the rear window is less than 5' wide and about 8" of window high, that would be roughly $60 each. The generic rear window (trim to fit) type goes for about 90 to 100 USD. They are usually designed for a pick up. Not a bad price. The film is perforated so you can see out (like the bus advertising). I emailed to ask if it's a solid colour only or available as a transparent tint of varying shades. I suspect solid only. |
