Title: suspension work
Post by: 2ML67 on April 21, 2007, 09:17:24 pm
Finally broke down and decidede it was time to put in a few new parts, removing the two main bolts on the struts to instal new struts was a lot of fun. broke two johnson bars but in the end I got it done.
Now for the front end installed a rebuilt rack and of course three of the four bolts holding the rack in broke off so they had to be replaced. Now trying to decide on whether or not to instal new front ball joints that I bought or just run it in for an alignment and see if the the guy there thinks they are ok or not.
Hoping all this work will help with my strange tire ware problem it seems that for some strange unknown reason the rear tires keep going bald. Dan

It may sound strange, but disconnecting one or two plug wires should cure your tire wear problem.
