Title: No Longer Grampa's Car
Post by: FieroBUZZ on May 03, 2007, 01:06:30 pm
Well, technically it is. ^-^

The Achieva has been left for dad to sell off.  It's still in my name although Mallory has paid it off.  Evidently it work selling a used car so it seems to be my problem.  Well, the sales commission is pretty high.   >:D

The big complaint always was that it looks like an old man's car.  Plain jane gray, 4 doors, tiny rims with 185/75/14 tires and plastic Olds hubcaps, you get the idea.

Well, there was a leak in a tire so I changed it.  Now it sports Fiero rims with 215/60/14 tires.  Snows in the front  :(  but white letter beasties in the rear.

It doesn't look like an old man's car today.   O0

I'd include a pic.  However I'm 6 days off Pepsi, and the digi's upteenth refusal to work properly (or at all) has resulted in a gravity mishap.  It left my hand at high speed and met the garage floor.   ::)

Isn't that the one with the instrument panel which you were thinking of pilfering?

Just get a Kodak.  Cheep, works well and simple to use.  Good luck.

If you want something that has amazing battery life, and a great price, get Casio.  Great Image's and the battery lasted me 2 weeks vacation and over 300 pictures + 5-6 movies or so.  Thats with a 2.2" LCD on all the time!   Died the last day of my Vacation.  hehe

I'll have to look for a cheap digi.  I seem to be hard on them.  I see wallyworld now has kid's digi's for $20 or so.   >:D

BTW the beast passed it's etest.  Now I can get the plates renewed.

A lady was in agead of me with a 98 GP 3800.  She was kind of worried but showed me the sheet after.  It barely registered a reading on anything.  I was pretty surprised.

My 3.1 just made it under CO readings.   ;)

Kodak is good for film...but not cameras.   O0  I'd go with a Cannon.

Cheers, Derek
