Title: Anyone have 3.4 dohc info/literature etc? Post by: fiero308 on February 12, 2003, 09:32:11 am ok. So I'm wishy-washy. I have this long standing soft spot for that 3.4 and I am back to thinking about it again. Listened to the video of Kyle's autocross run and that has the mind churning again. So... in my typical fashion I am going to research this thing to death and then make my mind up. In the meantime, I could be a bit of a lightning rod for 3.4 info and catalogue it and organize it as I go so if others are interested I could pass info to them etc. disclaimer: note that my having it won't make me an expert......... lol That won't happen until I actually do the swap and even then it doesn't all sink in.
So... anybody: if you have info on this; stuff you have downloaded, websites you know of; links, ANYthing at all; please forward it to me; you don't even have to ask, and I will start doing this. Maybe we could have someone perform this function for all the popular swaps....? My email is gwpotts@sympatico.ca hope to hear from you!!!!!!!!! -Graeme Title: Re:Anyone have 3.4 dohc info/literature etc? Post by: FieroDough on February 12, 2003, 11:28:04 am well not to just boast my own beleifs, but why not just go 3800sc? it a more popular engine, it's a 90 degree engine (translation: Bulletproof). Has more torque, more HP, cheaper. same weight. much simpler install.
oh, and if anyone is interested, I have a core 3800 engine for sale. good block, good heads, smokes a little. (needs rebuild, basic rebuild for this engine is approx $500) Cheers!
