Title: Eco Police in January 2010 Post by: 87GT on January 21, 2010, 11:01:37 pm FYI saw this new post on a Monte Carlo SS site today:
"It was a nice sunny day today so I thought I would put a wash on the Monte Carlo at the local carwash, after I leave, all nice and clean I get pulled over by the Environment coppers. He missed the air pump with no belt but wrote me up for no cat, jeez .....can't win these days, to top it off the hood release doesn't always pop the hood so this time when it didn't pop I put my hip into it to gently coax it and creased the fender a little ... it'll come out ok but it won't be perfect," This poster is somewhere in Ontario, Canada. Fine = $365 including victim surcharge ????, but it was dropped to $50 if he pleads guilty and reinstalls a working cat (receipts etc. needed).
