Title: Lousy suspension bolts Post by: 2ML67 on March 11, 2010, 12:20:04 pm Finishing off the poly upgrades on my car and wouldn't you know it three bolts in the front broke off. Luckily one was able to be removed with an air hammer but the other two required removing Gary style with a grinder.
Just have to put in the driver's side new ball joints and put her back together so I can get a good four wheel alignment done and the car is done and ready for another season of abuse. Either way she is done and sitting back on all four tires and waiting for an alignment. Not sure if I like the 1" drop front springs yet but atleast it looks better to me. Just waiting for the new front and rear heavy duty sway bars to arrive and the suspension will be done. Then once the alignment is done my car will be ready for the road and I plan on putting some miles on it this year. So far it is looking like it might actually be a nice summer and at this point with just one swap booked in it also looks like it will be a slow one work wise. Dan |
