Title: 87 passenger side headlight motor.
Post by: dimeadozen on September 21, 2010, 01:02:55 pm
My motor is burning out. I know it is not the gearing cus the gearing works. But the motor will not lift the light under the weight of the door.

Anyone willing to part with one? Im looking for one for a good price, and Im willing to trade parts as well for it.

We have lots of pre-87 motors in the shed, but that won't help you.

IIRC the correct year(s) of Firebirdie have motors which we can use; all you have to do is swap Birdie left for Fiero right and vice versa.  Couldn't hurt to call around to the yards....

Thats a good idea. But do the yards go back that far? Usually junkers scrap all cars past like 15 years?
How recent a firebird motor can I go with?
