Title: What tranny do I have? 2/3 slipping Post by: tweeder on August 12, 2012, 05:03:54 pm I found these markings. 866 4l80 CFD 910 hydra-matic. Wht tranny is this and what'd it come from?

The easiest way to tell with the 4 speed autos is if it has a vacuum modulator and kick down cable it is a 4T60 if it is just a vacuum modulator and no kick down it is a 4T60E. The 4T60E trannies are very different with a larger electrical connector centered on the top end of the housing and no modulator. Dan
