Title: 3800 Swap Post by: can machine on September 14, 2016, 09:28:40 pm Well I've been able to work on my swap a bit in the last month and I finally got most of the engine done. Just mocked up the belt pulleys and low mount engine set up I got from Fierorog.
(http://i.imgur.com/rSwb0h5h.jpg) Still got a few things to paint on the engine yet, just wanted to make sure everything fit. Title: Re: 3800 Swap Post by: aaron88 on September 17, 2016, 03:17:16 pm Looks nice and clean.
Title: Re: 3800 Swap Post by: Dan on September 17, 2016, 06:57:37 pm looking good but don't forget to swap valve covers from side to side to make oil changes a lot easier after the swap is done

Title: Re: 3800 Swap Post by: Dan on September 18, 2016, 11:17:20 am hope you installed new gaskets and also replaced the lower intake gaskets with the newer aluminum ones as the engines like to leak fluids
Title: Re: 3800 Swap Post by: can machine on September 18, 2016, 09:01:06 pm Yeah I bought the complete gasket kit from top to bottom. The only thing I didn't do is pull the bottom end apart ie: bearings, rings, pistons.
