Title: 85 brake and suspension parts 4 sale
Post by: fiero308 on May 22, 2003, 08:11:54 am
Since I am redoing my front suspension I now have a bunch of stock 85 fiero suspension and brake stuff for sale:
I have:
-front springs - stock - good for someone who wants to lower the front;
-front calipers both sides - one side is seized (I exchanged my good one for it) but front right is in good shape;
-front rotors both sides c/w bearings etc - good for doing the "turn-down" hub for a brake upgrade;
-rear calipers both sides; were working fine;
-rear rotors both sides; I think they were ok thickness but can check if someone can tell me the min thickness; not grooved or pitted;
-front shocks are sold already.
tia!

just an update/reminder that I have some '85 brake and suspension parts for sale. I have still the front rotors - good for making hubs?, front calipers (one was exchanged for a seized unit and is good for a core only); front springs if someone wants to cut theirs down?
Also rear struts in good condition including springs altho I could separate them.  Rear brake calipers and rear rotors; in good shape (when I parked it last november....)  ::)
I am just trying to offset some of the swap work I am doing; so not asking much for anything. Everything from the wreckers costs in multiples of $50; that (or $100) is the starting point and I always have to buy 2 or 4 of anything... what a surprise....  :-\ hope its of some use to someone, even for spares.

not sure exactly what part you mean by the rear HUB ....... ???
Do you mean the bearing ass'y or the upright that the strut attaches to? Or the axle-end stub?
I have the rotors and calipers and they worked fine when I drove it here........ some centuries ago, it seems.......... :'(
let me know what you mean by hub when you get a chance
thx
