Title: Re:CLUB MEETING Post by: Sentinel on June 02, 2003, 10:30:48 pm and how many are planning to attend
Title: Re:CLUB MEETING Post by: Gizmo on June 02, 2003, 11:29:41 pm I'll be there for sure ;D
If I can jump in with this though. Last season there was talk of doing a drive-in day. Would there be enough interest to do something like that after this Saturdays club meeting? Bring some DVDs and we are set. For audio, an FM stereo transmitter will do the trick. But we will need to locate a nice large white wall...a projector will do the rest! Title: Re:CLUB MEETING Post by: Sentinel on June 03, 2003, 10:42:43 pm That would be cool to resurrect this idea from last year, maybe we can figure out who will bring what on Sat.

Last time I checked, they still had an operating drive-in theatre. ...and county road 10 from Westport to Kingston is a blast. ;D Title: Re:CLUB MEETING Post by: fiero1 on June 04, 2003, 09:46:44 am ;D ;DSee you there ;)

Just county road 10 alone would be a blast! Thats a club outing we should consider. :D Title: Re:CLUB MEETING Post by: FieroDough on June 04, 2003, 01:55:12 pm The best bet is a baseball diamond late at night, just let the city know in advance and were good. :)
I recomend the ball pack in blackburn. big and away from city lights. :) Cheers! Eric Title: Re:Kingston drive-in theatre Post by: dguy on June 04, 2003, 02:15:44 pm Hmmm, I didn't know they still had an operational drive-in down there. When I first mentioned that, I didn't know whether or not they were still in business--was going purely on memory. It's been at least... 5 years since I visited Kingston's drive in. I still know where it is though--on McAdoo's lane, not far from where McAdoo meets Division St. (just north of the 401).If a Google search can be believed however, Kingston Family Funworld (http://www.amusementsinkingston.com/kffw/) is still live & kicking. Title: Re:CLUB MEETING Post by: Sentinel on June 04, 2003, 10:01:48 pm I like the Kingston Idea, hell of a lot less work
Title: Re:CLUB MEETING Post by: 34FieroGT on June 05, 2003, 11:53:51 am Sorry Guys, I won't be able to make it to this meeting. I will be at the Corel Centre on Sunday though!
tyler... Title: Re:CLUB MEETING Post by: Fieroflyer on June 05, 2003, 03:56:14 pm I like the Kingston idea as well as it is closer for me. Hey if you are that desperate for a drive in Peterborough still has one and its really close for me. At least compared to driving to Ottawa it is. Hey heres an idea instead of alternating between sides of Ottawa for meetings we hold every other meeting in Peterborough sound like a good idea or what.Ha Ha. Dan
Title: Re:CLUB MEETING Post by: JetJumper on June 05, 2003, 09:54:29 pm umm...umm...Thats like 2 hours isn't it? I realize for you its good, but like the entire club is here ::)
