Title: RAW DATA recovery Post by: JetJumper on August 11, 2003, 09:59:34 pm I have a USB Flash Hard drive and my dad erased the Partition information on it, all the data is still there and I need to recover it. I don't want to spend $30 or what ever to register this one program I have that can do it. Anyone know a free way to get the information back or how to restore a partition?
Title: Re:RAW DATA recovery Post by: dguy on August 12, 2003, 08:50:31 am I have an old copy of Norton utilities somewhere... and I mean old.
If you're comfortable calculating partition table values on your own, this version of Norton will let you do sector-by-sector modifications (i.e. you can re-create the partition table by hand). Only for the brave though. ;D Title: Re:RAW DATA recovery Post by: JetJumper on August 12, 2003, 10:59:04 pm Well, I phoned the person who's info it was. Turns out she didn't need it that badly so I said HELL with it and reformated the memory key. Thanks guys for the replies tho. (This includes PM's)
