Title: Newsletter Interest
Post by: dguy on August 20, 2003, 09:15:52 am
Just a quick poll to find out if there is any interest in my transcribing the Specialty Vehicle Association of Ontario (http://www.corskan.on.ca/svao/)'s newsletters as I receive them.

I am not necessarily sure of what sort of topics it covers but am interested at this point and finding out more.  Maybe posting a sample would be an idea?????

Here is a copy of the March newsletter (http://www.corskan.on.ca/svao/newsletter032003.html); the current one (July/03) is not available via the SVAO web site just yet.

Posting them isn't a big deal; I can either type them out by hand, or have the raw text e-mailed to me and it's just a matter of a quick copy/past job...

Ok 50 or so views, but only two people have actually indicated a yes or no.  Perhaps I should have added a "don't care" option to the poll?  ;)

Mark me down for unsure.  I’m not going to know if I’m interested in reading it until I read at least a few.  But I don’t want to just say yes and cause you a whole lot of work for something I may not read in the end.

What I suggest, is to post three or four and then take another pole.

Now why didn't I think of that????

It's not a lot of work, actually.  If I can find the guy's e-mail address I can have the newsletter sent to me as a text file, then it's just a matter of copy 'n paste...
