"321"

Browsing through 3800s listed on www.car-part.com, and I'm seeing a lot of descriptions with things like "-321" or "321 EXTRA", "REMOVE 321 BEFORE SALE", etc.


Anyone know that a "321" is?

Some of the yards remove the supercharger and sell it as a separate item.   

edit:  I'm not sure if they actually remove it, but the listing (price) represents just the motor (less the supercharger), AFAIK.

How nice & cryptic.  "-M75" or "-M90" would have made more sense if you ask me, but what do I know?  Less than Gary, obviously.   

In any case, I'm not in a position to go shopping... yet.  Just looking at prices & locations at the moment.
