Got vacuum. Want boost.

Does anyone happen to know of a (local) place where one might purchase parts for Sears/Craftsman garage door openers?

One of ours has a stripped gear.  Not only are its guts similar to the 84-86 headlight motors, but it appears to fail the same way too.   Roll Eyes

 Tongue

I actually considered it, but the stripped gear from the opener is 0.5-1.0" larger in diameter than headlight motor gears and the tooth spacing is different.

Although with a bridge rectifier, voltage regulator, a couple of relays, and some sort of reduction drive....     Evil

There was a Sears service center on St Laurent and Conroy drive I have been trying but I cannot find the exact address of it or even a phone number.

Thanks... the service center is still there; it just doesn't appear to be listed in phone books or anywhere on Sears' web site that I can find.  A phone call to Sears Home Central eventually got me through to the right people to talk to.
