Deville is your best bet. I don't know when the 4.9 came in (maybe 89?), most eighties fwd's have 4.1 and 4.5 motors.
90's cars are either 4.9 or Northstars I think.
If you find an Allante? with a 4.5 I believe you want the starter (87 to 92) and maybe the intake. The starter is smaller and doesn't need to have the tranny notched. I'm pretty sure 've read that the intake is somehow advantageous.
