Okay, back to the old T-shirt idea.  I spoke with the guy from the local sports shop about having some silkscreened.
Minimum is a dozen at a time, and I suspect one ink colour at a time (not 6 red and 6 green type of deal).  Are we interested enough to get something going?

Silkscreened are not as durable as embroidered (but I'm not fronting the setups costs of that again).  We do need to come up with a design
that is reasonable simple and good looking.  He'll then give a quote on costs.  We can supply our own shirts (or whatever) to be done.  There are often some good deals on shirts and as long as they are of good quality, it doesn't matter.  The ones at Footlocker are nice, or a Hanes Beefy T, or Gildan are pretty well made.

If we pick black ink, it should show on most colours.  White is good for most dark colours, and yellow or lime green will show on both (sort of )

IDEAS ARE WELCOMED!!!!!  Either a completed design, work in progress or just a thought of something cool.  Trick is to keep it simple.

Also if everyone chucked in an extra $20 or so, we could order extras to sell to the yankee collectors and recover some of the cost of our own.

Still interested here, just like I was back in October the last time you brought this up.  Smiley

It seems to me however, that every time we talk about a logo to put on a shirt, a sticker, or a toolbox, that things pretty much come to a grinding halt after a bit of chatter and little or no art work submitted.  Sad

Personally I'm still partial to the logo on Gary's jacket; anyone who's not familiar with it, see the last couple of posts in this thread.  Not sure how I missed out on the embroidery run last time, but I regret it.

Then again I may be partial to that design simply because I think it looks sharp, and haven't seen any others.   Grin

If you want something fresh, something new, get busy with a doodling program and post it.  Heck draw it out on paper, get it to me by snail mail if necessary, and I'll scan the sucker and post it.

I said it before and I'll say it again, I am not an artist by even the most general definition of the word, so I won't be contributing anything to a logo design other than my opinion.

...but if the rest of you can get the ball rolling this time, and we settle on a design, the first 12 (blank) shirts are on me.  Depending upon printing costs, I may cover that too.

Now start drawing.   Afro

The fist one's my favorite out of that set.  IMO a good shirt job needs either the "coat of arms", or the word Fiero should be in the original font.  Doesn't have to be both, but at least one of those should be in to link back to the car properly.

...but that's just me.   Cheesy

How 'bout we open it up to being the "Ontario Fiero Club".  I appreciate that most here are in the Ottawa area and that this is the "Ottawa" club, but I'm a Kingstonian and would prefer "Ontario".  Plus, this opens it up to the folks in Toronto and London to get in on ordering shirts.

Cheers, Derek

See new topic.

5 hours driving
3 hours carrying baggage
5 hours sleeping
8 hours leaning into the aisle oogling stewardesses
63 seconds joining the 'mile high club'

Sounds like quite a trip.   Evil

no name..

Probably best as about an 8 inch bar accross the chest, or on back between the shoulder blades.

What's this, the guy who's always making fun of "fatbacks" puts out art showing that which is most definitely a fastback rear clip?   Shocked

Can't do much from work... but the idea I had was like this...

The Fiero emblem in the centre with OFC over the top of it, and Share The Obsession curled around the bottom.  The OFC lettering done in the Fiero font.
