No amount of pushing is going to do the trick as the car is sitting on top of the snow. Fortunately, I was able to clear out a path and the Element made it out of the driveway so that both she and my wife could get to work/appointments.
Reminds me of something I did when much younger...
Night shift at a convenience store, get back to my apartment to find that Mr. Plow had done his thing, and I didn't own a shovel.
There was however, a nicely plowed parking lot on the opposite side of the road and as it was about 12am in a small town, I decided to risk nailing someone on the street with an attempt at using the empty lot to build up speed and punch through the snow bank.
...half an hour or so later, the tow truck driver was refusing to take my money. Apparently seeing my car hung up on a 2-3' high snow bank was the best laugh he'd had all night.
