I am looking at buying a laptop and found this. Its a refurb and looks like will do the few things I would like it to do, browsing forums, playing C&C simple things. I don't know a whole lot about these. Any thoughts about it? Anyone have one cheaper than the $600 the Trailing Edge has it for?

Have you looked here?  Tiger Direct  Could be worth a look, they have both new and referbished laptops.

Okay, for one, stay away from tiger direct for anything refurb.  you will get screwed somehow.
