3.1 vs 3.4 throttle body

moving stuff around in the garage pretending that doing that is progress; my 3.4 dohc intake ended up beside a 3.1 sfi intake and it was hard not to notice the difference between throttle bodies.  So......... I took a pic and rough measurements.  2.7 in dia vs about 1.9 inch dia.  That is about a 105% increase in size.......
for 300 cc's...........  wonder what they had in mind when they made it.....
ummmmmmm guess which is which......
and Nick, I think yours is bigger yet.....
