Did you say you had a welder to cap the manifolds?  If so are you willing to try?

How much is the refill of your gas?

I was going to get someone to just chop out the piece in the center with the outlet rather than change the whole manifold.

I think I can get one here.

I do need a dust cover for the bottom of the flywheel housing for a S1 3800 if you should see one.  Thanks.

Gary
did you get that taken care of?  If not, I might be able to help (if you want).
But.........
Is this a cast iron or steel manifold ( I forget; I think you showed me a steel one???)

Thanks Graeme.  I'll try to post a couple of pics showing just what I need done.  They are stainless, very similar to the stock Fiero ones.

I need one end blocked off and a downpipe/outlet welded on one to eliminate the crossover.

BTW I may have located a guy who does stainless and is also experienced in custom stainless exhaust, supposedly even to the making of a custom muffler.  I have to find his shop, tho.

hi Gary;
I am not set up with the right gas to do stainless. I had a TIG welder lined up but the guy sold it before I could get to see it.

My neighbour has a cousin who is in the stainless and exhaust business; however I think he is down around Smiths Falls or something so that is prob "out".
If you are stuck I can find out but there MUST be someone in that area who can do it?  Or at least in Ottawa.
LMK if you need help finding someone.  Good that you are working on it, tho' - sounds pretty familiar how it is going...... Roll Eyes  Grin
