What a PAIN...

Went about replacing my front right lower ball joint over the last two days and it was pretty horrendous. They really jam that in there, tools included in this job included a saw and a hacksaw blade. Dont even ask. Well, its in now, but to my dismay the problem has been only partially fixed. Looks like I need new inner tie rod. Not too expensive at Parts Source. This car may get on the road for at least two weeks this summer...er..fall.

How do yhou find "Parts Source" for pricing and do you have an address?

I find Parts Source fairly good for prices. I was calling around three different parts places, Parts Source, CTC, and another I forget now. I was pricing outer tie-rods, lower ball joints, and outer tie rods for a escort. The outer tie-rods for the fiero were the same price at all, about $80, give or take a buck or two. The lower ball joint was almost half the price at PS then the other two. I got it for $26. The tie-rods for the Escort were about $5 less at PS(they were on sale).
When I ordered my inner tie-rod I didnt even shop around, the price is $26(not top of the line).
You get really great customer service. They have the tool loaner program(which will be handy for removing the inner tie-rod). I like them, also no long waits like CTC.
They are listed in the phone book. There is one on Merivale and one on Bank.
