I now have the Dyno results (from Tapp auto btw) Here are the numbers:

3800 SCII

225HP
285.5 FT/LBS  Grin

Not is all perfect tho... I have an engine 'burp' @ ~4700 RPM where the car seems to pull back momentarily. There is even a dip on the dyno printout as well. I think the HP # should be higher if it weren't for that hiccup.

I am using only 92 octane gas.. any ideas what it could be?

Thanks for posting.

I dont' think too many people here will care though.  they dont' seem to care about people posting dyno numbers.  why?  I have no idea.  I guess its more popular to think you are making more power then you are, or to say its faster then it really is then to find out.

it would be interesting (and possibly helpful?) to see the chart or the rpm vs hp etc to get an idea of how it is performing etc; ie is it on a climb or a decline when it has its hiccup?

But nice no's.

Whatever you do dont' post any graphs.

Just make claims of what your car is putting down but don't put up a graph.

You dont' have to prove anything so 308 stop askign to see the chart.  He doesnt' need to prove anything to you or anyone else here.

I think Dr_evils car speaks for itself.

But I guess I should ask it the same way taht 308 is asking.

Perhaps it would be interesting (and possibly helpfull?) if Aaron posted his chart so we can get an idea of how it is performing?

It seems to be on the climb. I will scan in the chart and post it.

The numbers are really nice, but that 'burp' is indeed noticable under accelleration and somewhat annoying so I would really appreciate any help the team  here can provide.

BTW, for the tires I went with Falken. Goodyears would have been ~$325 each but Falkens were $185 each with what looks like the exact same tread pattern as the Eagle F1's. As per my previous post, I ended up with a set of chrome Motegi RT5's. I will get around to taking a car photo as well.

I have three 3800SC powered cars here right now so I will try each and see if any of them are acting in a similar way. I know when mine was dyno'd last year there was no such problem. I know Brian's was missfiring under heavy load till I put in the new plugs (TR55's). Dan

This is timely for Dan to chime in; I was going to suggest both him and Aaron for coming up with ideas.
I guess it is also important to know all the 'options'  ie ECM, custom chips, underdrive pulleys? boost rate? aftermarket stuff etc etc etc wherever you did anything like that.
Should be interesting!

Had a fun day abusing 3800SC cars, took each one through the gears up to 5500rpm and all worked fine. I know when I first built mine it had a few issues till the PCM was dealt with. I figured it was due to the ZZ nic cam, 3.4 inch pulley and extensive head and intake porting that the factory PCM didn't like. Dan
