Local wreckers here has a 2006 Impala with the 5.3 V8 in it available she is hit in the front but engine and tranny are ok. They are asking $5,000 for the engine, tranny, harness and PCM. This would work real nice in a Fiero. If any one is interested it is Hotch's autowreckers. Dan

I’ve been thinking about this as a potential swap for the vandingo….the engine in there is starting to sound like one of the mains is going out again, only when cold so far.  Jumping the gun tho.  Bit of life left in it yet but this sure would wake it up.  Too bad it’s got that price tag.  I'm just thinking out loud again!

I agree if the price was lower I would be mounting that thing into a Fiero. This wreckers only deals with newer stuff and that is why they are expensive plus not too many of these engines available yet. Dan
