Yes I know how to use the Yellow Pages, but before I essentially start drawing names from a hat can anyone recommend a mortgage broker with whom they're pleased?

yes, this may mean that any future GTGs at our place are a little less cramped

When my wife and I were shopping for our house, we use "Guy Gauthier Financial Services".  He took care of almost everything for us regarding the financial side.  There's another guy on the MCO forums that was advertising mortgage services as well.  I just can't remember his name though.  I believe that he was offering some sort of discount, so you may want to take a look there.

Found the dude on the MCO forum... looks like his discount was the absorption of all legal fees if one used him as a mortage broker, and a real estate agent he's partnered with for the purchase.  Don't think that would work in our case......

Got the wheels turning with G. Gauthier now.  This is going to be interesting.   Undecided

We used Debbie Belair, she came recommended from lots of different peopel.  You can shop around but nobody beats her rates, and I mean no-one. 769-3206 ex22.
