Grand Am shifter

If any one comes across a 96 to 98 Grand Am in the wreckers that has a 5 speed manual in it I would appreciate if you let me know as I am looking into replacing the lousy 2.4l twin cam engine in my 96 Grand Am with either an eco-tech or a 3400, either way I want to convert it over to a manual tranny while I am at it. Car-part.com lists 2.4 Cavy trannys with the GA.  It seems they all have lotsa k's and are pricey.

The tranny is not a problem it is finding a shifter and console that will work in my Grand Am and not look like crap. I want it to look like it came from the factory with a manual tranny which according to interchange info I have found some did. Dan

Carpart says there are 97 GA manual trannys at
