There are a few articles around on tightening the 4 bolts in the column.
Good list of interesting stuff HERE including the column disassembly.

A short instruction HERE

The Tilt Steering Pivot Pin Puller is Snap-On part #CJ134 if interested.

If you go in, it's a good idea to replace any worn or damaged parts, horn and turn signal mechanisms, anything cracked, and relube the works.

An issue GM has with its steering columns is that four bolt located below the tilt assembly work their way loose. If you leave it they will work their way loose and can jam your steering or come out completely. The fix is simple but takes some specific tools and can be a pain to get at. Follow this link click me it has lots of pics and will show you what is in there so that will help of course if you decide to repair. Post if you need a hand. Kevin

Nah, not hard at all.  Just a bit intimidating if you've never ripped a column apart before.

IIRC you can get both the pivot pin puller and the female torx driver needed for the bolts at Princess Auto.
