Is it possible to change them without dropping the cradle completely out? It's been awhile since I have been under there to look. Also does anyone know the dimentions of the aluminum ones? Or have a set they want to measure for me? That's the first thing I was thinking of making when I get my lathe hooked up. (Waiting on the electrician) Angry

Yes they can be changed by just lowering the cradle a few inches but it is not easy to get the old ones out that way. Dan

Get yourself one of these:

and use some heat if you have to.  But be careful with the heat and where you point it.
