When I turn the parking lights on the fuse for the hazard/stop (3rd fuse from top left) blows immediately.  I have taken out all the exterior lights and taken out the hazard switch and I still get the 3rd fuse from the top left burning out like a snap when I turn on the parking lights.  When the fuse burns, the turn signals, brake lights, head hights and head light motors work fine.  The head light motors will go down immediately if I have the parking lights switch not turned on and when I replace the switch.  Any suggestions on how getting this problem fixed?

sounds like you have a short somewhere, I'll look to see where the connections from that fuse run to find the short.

ok that fuse runs from an always hot connection. The other side should have a orange wire that will run to 2 locations

1- the brake  switch
2- Hazard Flasher

1(brake ) will then have a white wire that runs to the turn/hazard switch assembly

2(Hazard) will have a brown wire running into the same turn/hazaed assembly

Then there will be 2 wires to focus on exiting the Turn/Hazard assembly a Dark Blue and a Light blue

The Dark blue runs to the (Right) Park/Turn light as well the In-Dash indicator section and the Light blue runs to the (Left) Park/Turn and in dash indicator.

If you have a Multimeter you can check to find where the short is

I found the problem!!  well I posted the same question on the fiero mailing list and a person replied asking me to check the brown wire in back of the stereo which could be touching the case of the stereo.  It was exactly what was going on and the problem is gone.   Grin
