Well I'm sure most won't remember but last year a bunch of people came down to Kingston and met at the Olympic Harbour. I met a few of you and had a great time!

For the past few years there has been a car show and flea market in Odessa which is just west of Kingston. My family has been a part of this in the past. A couple weeks ago I was talking to one of the organizers and told them about my car and they asked if I was planning on bringing it. As I thought more about it I wondered if it was an event that the Ottawa club would be interested in attending?

The scheduled date is June12 and 13th, with judging being the 13th.
Now the organizers have already setup all the classes for judging so it is too late for them to add a Fiero class but there is a couple classes that people could enter their cars into if they wished (there is a fee for this) if we do this we would probably end up being seperated.

The other option is I could try to arrange for us to have a spot to park all together we would not be in the formal judging but would all be in the same area. This would not cost anybody registration fees and I will ask if they would supply dash plaques for us anyway.

Anyway if there is any interest I can follow up on some of this as well as I can try to get a scan of the flyer if anyone wanted to register as a vender for the flea market or to see the judging classes.

Just thought it might be some exposure if you wanted to bring a banner and have all the cars together.

Let me know if this is something anyone is interested in I would need a good guess on numbers of people commited to the idea before I talk to an organizer again.

Thanks

Hey, could you scan and post that flyer, sounds like that would be a nice cruise day, even if we don't enter the show.

I will scan it at work tommorow. Ya I thought it would be a nice cruise and if you could get some numbers of participants I can have them reserve a space so we could all park together.

Actually that's 2 words and a number Wink

Thanks for the scan NoFiero

Well I've been getting the hankering for planning out a few cruises so I take it County Rd 10 come highly recommended.

So who would be interested in this trip?
Might be a good chance to meet up with the [http://www.pcpages.com/ofa/]OFA Folks[/url]
and GTA(where the hell did they go? Website is gone, or under construction at least)

Let me know

Tinker also provided this Link to the flyer

County Road 10 is the...  most entertaining way to get from the Ottawa Valley to Kingston.  Yeah sure there's the 401 or Hwy. 15, but they're boring by comparison.  CR 10, especially between Westport & Perth Road Village is an all-out blast.

Assuming that I'm on the road by then, put me down.  At last count I have seven stalled Fiero projects, and at least three more which are close to a "must have" status before I can come out & play.

Anyone have a cloning machine?
