I have downloaded an article detailing a pretty detailed and 'more than eyeballing' home alignment method.  It is actually a bit scientific and looks good.  At the end of the article it had a link for anyone to download but there was a prob with the link.  So I did a cut and paste.  It is 15 pages WORD format with 7 photos that are fair size and clear.  The entire file is about 250 kB for anyone interested.

I have NOT done this myself but will certainly examine it in detail (when I get to that point!!)  It covers all years, front and back.

I've read a couple of articles, and am always interested in reading others lately as I am going to be performing an "@home" alignment after I finish swearing at the last three rust-welded bolts that are preventing me from finishing my poly install up front.


Hey speaking of alignments...  have you given much thought yet as to how you're going to set your toy up once she's on the road?  Given the 100% custom suspension I don't imagine that there's a known "ideal" setting for you.  P'raps aligning to the original Fiero specs (if possible?) and then fine tuning for your driving style?

thx, Nick but it was over 250K, which might not be a big deal to everyone but might slow down someone, so I figured I wouldn't stick it on here; just send it to whoever asks for it.

Actually, it doesnt matter if its a word attachment, or zip or whatever....(pics and flash are the only format that will be opened inside a thread).  The forum is here for everyone, so post it up! 

Now that I think of it, theres may be a feature with this forum code, you can disable pics from loading in threads.  I'll have to take a look....

you'll have to excuse my ignorance, I just figured that anyone on dial up would be stuck with the download time for 250K which may not be a big deal anyway but if they were just scanning thru it might be an annoyance.  I think there are 7 pics in the article so that is the space right there.  And I don't know if it is helpful to NOT load them - they are good pics and very helpful so you would want them.
