For an Addon to the site, we should see if we can find a JAVA Chat program (NON-IRC Based) and put it up so people can talk real time

Just a thought, Anyone else Think this is a good Idea?

no, non-IRC based cause some work locations block IRC based ports so it won't connect...  What I am thinking is a Java Based one that is realtime and not like what they have at www.chat-house.com (I think thats the site)

Just please don't use the word "chat" in any URL.  Seriously.

Not only to they have IRC ports blocked here, but web-filtering software picks up on certain keywords within URLs.  "Chat" is one of them.

Not that I would do something other than what I'm paid to do while at work, no.....  


Heck the silly buggers even have anything vaguely related to ICQ blocked.  I get lovely little red X's where the ICQ flower would be when reading posts.

Funny though, I managed to figure out how to get ICQ to dodge their proxy server.  Nyah!  Nyah!
