Distributor Install
«

I want to install my distributor on my 2.8, and all the marks I made have disappeared. I'm at tdc #1 cylinder on compression. From pictures I've seen it looks like the #1 spark plug wire position on the cap is about 3 o'clock. The distributor looks like the module is about 8 o'clock. Can anyone set me straight.

Pretty close. I have closer to a 7 o'clock ignition module, and a 3:30 #1 wire.
If you set it up somewhere between what you have now, and what I have above, that should be enough to get her started. Then put her in "field service mode" and set it for real with a timing light.

Here's a pic, fresh from the driveway.
P.s. Chris, any chance on changing the "maximum execution time" allowed for a posting operation to something greater than 30 seconds? It makes posting images via dial-up virtually impossible.

Yeah I've noticed that the gallery is somewhat looped, if someone can find something other than what we have now that would be great....chris did you find anything?
