Well I plan on starting to make some cheap lookalikes. Smiley My GT will be the test subject as I am NOT paying $200.00 US for a set of Lexan windows.

I started cutting the prototype. Smiley  IT was rough and she cracked. Sad  But I think I have it figured yout!  Grin

Would you guys like me to start making theise and selling them cheap? (like $100.00 a set or less) or just post instructions on how to make them?

if my talents persist (I hope) I want to do the signal lite caps for the GT. (like blackout covers to make it smooth with the bumper instead of a hole),.

let me know what ya think! I hope to have the prototyp (my drivers side window) ready for the Orleans show wendnesday.

Cheers!

I think the problem is getting the right curvature, the matrix look, and heat resistance all at a low price.

The fierowarehouse 1/4's are pretty good looking.  If you count your time, it'll cost you as much anyway.

if the quarter windows are successfull, they material cost is about 50 to 75.00. CDN compared to 200.00 USD Tongue

Hope it workds, cuz I'm cheap!

We may put you to work doing SE quarters.  They're curved a bit as well but shouldn't be as hard as the GT windows to make.  Just about every car you see has some stress/heat cracks in them.
