Rebel (Marcel) has an 85 parter with an Isuzu. I don't know what it's like or what his plans for it are...... Everything I've seen in the local yards are 4 speeds.

Newcastle auto recyclers has an 88 that I removed parts from that still has a 5speed in it. If you can't find one closer let me know and I will check into it further for you. Dan

Well, the V8 decided to disagree with my 5 spd. Lots of noise! I need to find another Isuzu.... Anyone out there have a good spare? thanks, Sandy (w) 613-781-9653 (H) 613-830-9021
so...do you have a werking 5 spd at the moment if so, would it be for a duke?

The Isuzu 5 spd is the 4 cyl tranny. The v-6 uses a Muncie/getrag. Assuming that you don't do stupid things it will hold up to a 6 or even the honking big v-8 that Sandy has.
If you want to go standard from your auto it's fairly involved. Ask FieroDough as he did it with his GT.
The parts car that Rebel has should have everything that you need.
